Events in the Waldorf Year
Annual festivals and events at Charlottesville Waldorf School help to create the rhythm of the year and a sense of continuity to each child’s experience at the school. Celebrations like the Rose Ceremony, Michaelmas, the Lantern Walks, and May Day help mark the changing seasons in our part of the world and bring our community together. These festivals, with their accompanying activities, performances, and traditions, help our students connect with nature, learn about different traditions, and build strong bonds with each other and the wider school community. These events are a core part of the Waldorf experience, making learning and community life richer and more meaningful.
