Inspired by the principles of Waldorf education, our camps emphasize experiential learning that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Our Summer Garden camp is open to currently enrolled CWS students in Playgarden and Kindergarten. Our grade school camps and CIT program are open to the public, so bring friends! We were very happy to take part in the Charlottesville Family Summer Camp Expo held at the Brooks Family YMCA this past weekend and we are looking forward to a busy and joyful summer on campus!
Summer Garden: for CWS Playgarden and Kindergarten Students
Continuing the seasonal rhythms of our Early Childhood program, Summer Garden classes for toddler and kindergarten students will include free play, activities, and circle time. Imagine Camps: for students entering grades 2-4
Children will play and explore on our 10+acre campus. Weekly themes will include projects, activities, games, and opportunities for curiosity and imagination to flourish. 6 weeks of camp, register weekly. $410/week. Register now >
Discover Camps: for students entering grades 5-7
Students will dive deeper into the weekly themes, sparking their imagination, and discovering the magic of nature-STEM-based projects and activities. 6 weeks of camp, register weekly. $410/week. Register now >
CIT Program: for students entering grades 8+
Counselors in Training will develop valuable leadership skills and practice in mentoring younger campers. First aid and other special trainings will be balanced with active experience. 6 weeks of camp, register weekly, plus 1 day of orientation and first aid training. $275/week. Register now >
